Standing Shadows recently spent time recording in Joshua Tree desert with legendary producer Chris Goss (Queens Of The Stone Age, UNKLE, Duke Spirit, The Cult) at the infamous Rancho de la Luna studio, with engineer Ethan Allen (Gram Rabbit, Daniel Lanois, Spindrift). While fending off rattlesnakes and scorpions, the ungodly desert heat inspired new songs pouring from their sweat.  From glockenspiels & FunMachines, to keytars & kitchen cabinets, the band experimented with every instrument & surface available.  Songs include the wild and energetic "Freakshow", epic-heartfelt "Just A Part Of Me", and the electro-rock song "One by One", which features Dave Catching (QOTSA, Eagles Of Death Metal) on guitar.
